I know what you’re thinking… “Craig, it’s August. It’s hotter than the inside of a reindeer stable out here!”
True. But while the rest of Huntsville is still cranking the AC, Santa Craig Cringle and That Filipina Mrs. Claus – Aila Cringle are already deep in planning for the most wonderful time of the year.
(Santa Note: Peppermint cocoa tastes just as good in August – you just have to drink it faster before it melts.)
If you’ve ever wondered why booking Santa for hire in Huntsville AL matters, let me pull back the curtain (or, in my case, the red velvet drape) and let you in on the secret.
Santa’s Season Starts Sooner Than You Think
Most folks picture Santa starting work the day after Thanksgiving. In reality? The season kicks off in October – sometimes even late September. Tree lightings, parades, company parties… they’re all eager to get on my calendar. (In the Philippines, the Christmas season lasts from September to January!)
Here in Huntsville, I’ve been known to stop by events at Big Spring Park, drop in on Twickenham’s holiday home tours, and make a few magical appearances at local Christmas markets.
(Santa Note: One year, I was in full Santa gear while my neighbor was still mowing the lawn in shorts. That’s dedication.)
You’re Not the Only One Trying to Book Santa or Mrs. C.
It’s not just families wanting a cozy home visit. I’m also visiting:
- Company holiday parties from Madison to Decatur – if you want to hire Santa Claus for Christmas party entertainment, now’s the time to lock it down
- Preschools and daycares all over North Alabama, and perfect for Santa visits in Huntsville Alabama
- Parades in nearby towns like Athens and Hazel Green
- Professional photo sessions with local photographers
- Charity events for wonderful Huntsville-area nonprofits
When Mrs. Claus joins me? Those dates vanish even faster – people just can’t resist her warm smile and sweet nature. (Santa Note: And don’t even get me started on her cookies… they’re “disappearing” before they even cool on the rack.)
Not All Santas and Mrs. Clauses Are Created Equal
There’s a difference between a guy in a red suit and a professional Santa Claus in North Alabama who lives and breathes the role. I bring the white beard, the warm heart, and the twinkle in my eye. Add in Mrs. Claus’ Filipina heritage and charm, and you’ve got a holiday experience you simply can’t get anywhere else in Huntsville – or the rest of North Alabama, or even the entire southeast, for that matter.
In every community, there are only a handful of professional, experienced Santas who bring the right look, the right attitude, and the right magic. And when you add the bonus of a warm and welcoming Mrs. Claus – especially one as uniquely charming as Aila, That Filipina Mrs. Claus – those dates disappear quickly.
How Early Should You Book?
If you want prime December weekends, aim for September 1st at the latest.
If you’re dreaming of Thanksgiving weekend, the first weekend in December, or Christmas Eve, call me before you even finish this post.
(Santa Note: Seriously, I’ve had those dates spoken for before the leaves finished turning at Monte Sano.)
Let’s Get Your Spot Locked In
Booking early means:
- You get your choice of date and time
- You can plan without scrambling
- You’ll have peace of mind while I’m busy polishing my boots and feeding the reindeer
Don’t wait until you’re carving the turkey – by then, Santa and Mrs. Claus appearances in Huntsville will already be brimming and I’ll be looking for where our cup may runneth over.
